Blind Fury

Sometimes, flicking through channels has its rewards. Freestyle Friday. 106 & Park. This show man...I can't even tell you how hyped up I used to get listening to Jinn tha MC or Paperboy coming out of that. Unfortunately neither achieved much success but , hey the memories are there, for me at least.

It used to be one of those things we used to talk about in High School the next Monday, like "yo you seen that shit Goooddddddammmmmmnnn!!!!" During Jinn's rise, they even had sponsors for just that 5 minute section of the show.

Anyways, the other night made me rekindle that love of antagonistic programming once again when I seen this dude called Blind Fury.

He tore ass. I'm telling you...he ripped butt...and he's blind. You know how much shit this guy must have went through to get this far? I mean, just youtube him for the last couple weeks and you'll see how personal these guys get at him. My favourite was when he pulled out a surprise for one of the guest judges Chris Brown. This is nice.

I think I'm in denial of how much I like lifting from a book. I think I'm gonna do that more often.

Anyway, Plato's Allegory of the Cave was one of my favourite stories from Philosophy class back in the heezy. Amazing but not so surprising how relevant it still is. Enjoy!

Talking Heads

There's this author/psychologist Carol Lieberman who felt the wrath of nerd nation when she suggested games can turn a buncha young bastards into rapists. That's why there is an uptick of that crime these days, says her, who's also trying to sell a book.

In this book, Bad Girls: Why Men Love Them & How Good Girls Can Learn Their Secrets, critics argue that she's teaching girls how to dupe men using their alluring skills to get what they want...not sure this is a real safe thing to encourage a generation of girls, but hey, what do I look like, some type of book person man-guy?

Anyways, these people were so pissed at her spewing her treachery on Fox 'News' that they went on amazon and left some pretty funny 'reviews'. I don't feel like arguing good or bad, so I'll just leave this well done article right her with charts and a good writer person too.
